Back to Reality

Hello there, readers! Happy New Year and welcome back to my blog! I’m so excited to be sharing the first post of 2019. I’m even more excited that the next few posts will revolve around our holiday trip to Tonga and New Zealand.

After spending a little over 2 weeks abroad, Kolani and I got back to Washington on Monday, New Year’s Eve. Our flight from New Zealand to Washington was approximately 13 hours, and drive time was probably about three hours. We carpooled with Kolani’s family and drove back from Canada, picked up Kolani’s truck in Northern Washington, drove to my sister’s house to pick up Ava, then finally reached home. This week has honestly been a blur. I didn’t think the time change had affected me too much, but I’m definitely feeling it today. (Mind you that Washington is 21 hours behind New Zealand and Tonga).

There’s always so much to do when you get back from a trip, primarily laundry. Luckily, Kolani and I left our apartment nearly spotless when we left for our trip so nothing had to be done when we got home-besides washing a couple weeks worth of dirty clothes we had crammed in our dufflebags. Besides sleeping, eating, and laundry, we’ve also been editing away like crazy. With all that editing, I have good news ladies and gents. The first of four travel vlogs is going up on my YouTube channel this Sunday, January 6th at 9am. You can subscribe and join the premiere by clicking here: https://www.youtube.com/c/chloscall

These videos will include: time spent in Tonga, a dreamy look into the FaFa Islands, time spend in New Zealand, and a tour of Hobbiton. I will do similar blog posts to these videos, but will also post more specific posts regarding what to see, where to eat, etc. If there’s anything else you’d like to see, let me know in the comments below.

I think that’s going to wrap up today’s post! Don’t forget to follow me on instagram @chlos.call for more updates and travel posts. This has been a chloscall. Until next time, Chloe.
