Little Fires Everywhere Book Review

Little Fires Everywhere Book Review

The first book review of 2021, how exciting! And may I just start off this review by saying omg, omg omg omg. This book is filled with twists that become more and more dramatic along the way.

Little Fires Everywhere is about a a mysterious woman, Mia Warren, and her daughter Pearl as they move to a new small town in Ohio. While the town is picturesque, everything is done very by the book and no one dares to step outside the line.

Mia herself is very mysterious and decides to keep to herself in her tiny little apartment, taking photographs and doting on her daughter. When Pearl makes friends with the Richardson family, things start to turn, and Mia, Pearl, Mr. & Mrs. Richardson along with their three kids question what is real and what is not; what is right and what is wrong.

Is Mrs. Richardson in the wrong for becoming obsessed with finding Mia’s real identity and invading her privacy? Is Mia wrong for how she raised Pearl? And who is a more fit mother for baby Mirabelle-the Mcullough’s or Bebe Chow?

This book has so many twists and turns that when I believed I was close to predicting what was going to come next, I was taken into an entirely new direction and couldn’t put it down.

This book is great, easy read, and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! I haven’t watched the hulu tv show that is based off of this book, and I’m not sure that I will. This book is so perfect on its own that I don’t want to jeopardize my excitement about it.
