Over the past year, we’ve had to get creative with keeping normal activities safe, fun and at home. In today’s post, I’m going to share five flirty and cheap at home date night ideas you can try today!
Wine & Paint Night
Kolani and I had a wine & paint night a couple years ago at a local wine bar and loved it! What’s awesome about this idea is how easy it is to do at home! Supplies are super affordable and it’s definitely more of a romantic date. Pick out a theme or photo on Pinterest for you two to paint and enjoy!
Virtual Cooking Class
There are plenty of virtual cooking classes on YouTube that you can follow, or you can pick out a recipe for you both to cook together! It’s a great way to bond and you’ll appreciate the meal even more since you made it to together.
Kolani and I got really into board games during quarantine last year. Anything from puzzles, to chinese checkers, to uno. It’s exciting to unleash the competitive side, we had a lot of fun during our game nights!
Maybe you only want to watch one movie, maybe you’ll do a series or pick a movie genre. Nonetheless, go all out! I got popcorn, candies, wine and other snacks. I think movies at home are much better to be honest; you can pause the movie, not deal with annoying chatter and cuddle up in a couch fort! Sounds like a win win to me.
The other day, Kolani and I spent the morning building birdhouses for our backyard and had such a blast! We’ve never really had a date like that before, and since Kolani works in construction, he was able to show me how to do a few things while we were building.
