One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about the pandemic as far as being quarantined is seeing how creative people are getting in isolation. It’s so fun to see what people are doing to keep themselves sane and it’s inspired me to try some of the crafts that I’ve seen.
I’ve tried the dog painting with peanut butter thing with Ava and I have now been inspired to try creating my own backdrop! I think I’ll primarily use the backdrop to jazz up my pics on instagram. I picked up some colorful flowers to decorate the board so it seems more “in season”. It got me excited to make more backdrops for other upcoming seasons (could you imagine fall?!)
All you need, or basically all I used was a poster board, a glue gun, some glue sticks, scissors to puncture holes and a few colorful flower garlands that I cut up.
I think it took me roughly about an hour to complete, but I found it so fun! I really want to do more. It reminded me of my merchandising days which really aren’t that long ago but definitely feel like it.
Below is the finished product! How do you think it turned out? I can’t wait to post pictures using it as my backdrop! Be sure to follow along on instagram to see the final photos!
