7 Books I’m Dying to Read

7 Books I’m Dying to Read

So the other day, I found myself overwhelmed with book options on Amazon and I was adding every title into my cart without giving my cart much attention. Before I clicked checkout, I realized I’d have to save these titles for another time, but I think it’s easy to say I’ll most likely have a book haul coming soon.

All seven of these books are actually pretty different from each other. I was really all over the map with this time. Let’s look at each book together and talk about why it stuck out to me. If you’ve read any of these, let me know in the comments below!

Why: Kristin Hannah, need I say more? I watched the Netflix adaptation of Firefly Lane, read Fly Away, currently reading the Four Winds, and now I feel as if I HAVE to read The Nightingale. This book is posted everywhere I turn, every social media platform I scroll through. I already know what to expect from her writing, she’s great and one of my trusted authors.

Why: “Pink is my signature color.” – Shelby Eatenton. But in all seriousness, I love the color pink and think this will be such a fun little book to read through. How cute is this cover too?! It’s been on my to do list to color code all the books on my book shelf and this one definitely belongs apart of that process.

Why: Another book I’ve seen highly recommended by many. Quite an intriguing plot and released just last year, so I’m not too far behind with this one.

Why: I read the first book a few years ago and just found out there was a book two! It’s a very thought provoking and deep collection of stories. It really shifts your perspective on life and expands your mind.

Why: So, bit of a background on this pick and the next one. I binge watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Disney Plus, which forced me to fall in love with Bucky, which then led me to rewatch all of the Captain America movies, which solidified my love for Sebastian Stan. It was kind of like I was in high school again, becoming obsessed with a new celebrity. Anyways, in an interview I found, Sebastian was asked what some of his favorite books were. He first mentioned Catcher in the Rye (one of my absolute favorites of all time), and along with others, this one too. He said how he wanted to try to direct a movie adaptation of this book one day which piqued my curiosity. I think it’s very interesting to get to know someone based on the books that they read.

Why: This was another one of the books that Sebastian had mentioned. Both of these picks are definitely not my usual picks, but that makes me all the more excited to read new stories outside of my comfort zone.

Why: I. Adore. Kate. Spade. This seemed like a perfectly aesthetically cute coffee table book, but also who doesn’t want a book about modern day hosting? I’ve always loved the retro 50’s image but I know for a fact that I would hate living in that time because of how by the book everything had to be. This book seems to take the traditional idea of hosting and updating it for modern women.
