FBE: Course Three Review | Fashion Branding

I recently finished course three of the Fashion Business Essentials online program by Yellowbrick x WWD. As always, I’m here to review it and tell you guys what the course taught me.

Course three focused on fashion branding and all fields in relation to it. I learned a lot about fashion law, trademarks, logos and, in my opinion, most importantly, how to communicate with your customers and properly showcase your brand in social media.

A main theme I’ve noticed throughout the program so far is how much the fashion industry has changed as far as how it’s marketed (online, social media) and the importance of a customer’s perspective regarding a brand’s mission (typically focusing on sustainability).

(Also, a lot of people typically ask me how long it takes to complete the course, and for me it took about 6-8 hours).

While I don’t plan on creating a fashion brand, I still found the course interesting because I genuinely enjoy learning about business, especially in the fashion industry. I’m really looking forward to learning more about marketing strategies in the next course!
